Two things decide most board-exam scores in the last three months: knowing every formula without hesitating, and having seen how CBSE actually asks each chapter. A formula sheet handles the first. Previous year questions (PYQs) handle the second. Both are free on StudyOS for CBSE Class 10, 11 and 12, as web pages and as downloadable PDFs, and this page links every one of them.
Pick your class and subject. "Formula sheet" opens the chapter-wise formula page (with a PDF download button at the top). "PYQs" opens every board question from 2022 to 2026 for that subject, sorted by NCERT chapter, also with a PDF.
| Subject | Formula sheet | Previous year questions |
|---|---|---|
| Science | Formulas & equations | 875 PYQs |
| Mathematics | All 14 chapters | 1,107 PYQs |
| Social Science | — | 805 PYQs |
Class 11 has no CBSE board exam, so there are no board PYQs. The formula sheets matter more here than people expect, though: most Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Maths chapters build directly on Class 11 formulas, and JEE/NEET draw heavily from both years.
| Subject | Formula sheet |
|---|---|
| Physics | All 14 chapters |
| Chemistry | Formulas + named reactions |
| Mathematics | All 14 chapters |
| Accountancy | GST, BRS, depreciation, adjustments |
| Economics | Statistics + Microeconomics |
| Subject | Formula sheet | Previous year questions |
|---|---|---|
| Physics | All 14 chapters | 962 PYQs |
| Chemistry | Formulas + named reactions | 1,241 PYQs |
| Mathematics | All 13 chapters | 1,048 PYQs |
| Biology | — | 1,074 PYQs |
| Accountancy | All accounting ratios | 1,230 PYQs |
| Business Studies | — | 924 PYQs |
| Economics | Macroeconomics | 947 PYQs |
| History | — | 730 PYQs |
| Geography | — | 759 PYQs |
| Political Science | — | 761 PYQs |
That's 12 formula sheets and 12,463 previous year questions across 13 subjects. Every page is free, needs no sign-in, and has a one-tap WhatsApp share button, so you can send the exact subject to your class group.
New for Class 12 Physics: step-by-step derivations with diagrams for all 14 chapters, each marked with the CBSE board years (2022–2026) it was asked in, plus a table of the most-asked ones.
New map work lists: every item on the CBSE 2026-27 map list with where it is and the board years it was asked, for Class 10 Social Science, Class 12 History and Class 12 Geography, plus the Class 12 Political Science state clues for the map question.
Many "Class 12 Physics formula sheet PDF" results online are scans of a coaching handout written years before NCERT's rationalised syllabus. Formulas for topics that are no longer in the book sit next to ones you actually need, and nothing tells you which is which. Each StudyOS formula sheet is built the other way round:
Searches for "previous year questions chapter-wise" climb every year from November to February, and for good reason: board papers are the only source that shows exactly how CBSE frames a chapter. Each PYQ page contains:
Two honest limits. These are questions only, without an answer key: work them out from your NCERT book or the chapter notes, then check. And questions that depend on a figure, graph or map we couldn't reproduce cleanly are left out rather than shown broken.
A formula sheet on its own becomes something you read rather than use. PYQs on their own turn into a frustrating loop of "I knew this, I just couldn't remember the formula." Used together, each fixes the other's weakness:
A plan that fits around school and tuition, for any subject that has both resources:
For subjects with PYQs but no formula sheet (Social Science, Biology, Business Studies, History, Geography, Political Science), swap week 1 for the chapter notes and mind map on each chapter page, then run weeks 2 to 4 exactly the same way.
In Physics, derivations and standard results come back in different wrappers year after year. Use the Class 12 Physics formula sheet to make sure you know the end result of each derivation, then use the Physics PYQs to see which derivations CBSE has actually asked as 3- and 5-mark questions.
Named reactions and conversions carry easy marks that students lose to a missing reagent or condition. The Chemistry sheet lists every named organic reaction in the book; the Chemistry PYQs show how often they come up as "complete the reaction" and "convert A to B" questions.
Maths formulas are only useful if you can pick the right one quickly. After learning a chapter from the Class 10 Maths formula sheet or the Class 12 Maths formula sheet, do the PYQs for that chapter without looking at the sheet. Choosing the formula is the skill the paper tests.
Commerce students often assume formula sheets are a Science thing. They aren't. Accounting ratios, goodwill methods, interest on capital and the cash flow format are all formula work, and so are national income and the money and investment multipliers. Pair the Accountancy formula sheet with the Accountancy PYQs, and the Macroeconomics formula sheet with the Economics PYQs.
No single resource is enough, but PYQs are the closest thing to the real paper you can practise with. Use them alongside the NCERT textbook (every board question is answerable from it) and at least a few full-length mock papers for time management.
The last four or five years is the sweet spot, because the paper pattern changed with the rationalised syllabus and the bigger share of competency-based questions. That's exactly the 2022 to 2026 range on these pages.
Exact wording rarely repeats, but the same concepts, derivations and question styles come up year after year. That's why sorting PYQs chapter-wise is more useful than solving them paper by paper: you see the pattern for each chapter in one place.
The PYQ pages are questions only. For worked explanations, open the chapter itself on StudyOS. Each chapter has notes and practice questions with answers, and premium includes important board questions with answer hints.
Yes, it's free, and no, you don't need to sign up. Every formula sheet and PYQ PDF downloads directly from its page.
Yes. They follow the 2026-27 NCERT reprint and the CBSE 2026-27 curriculum, which is the syllabus for the February–March 2027 board exams.
