StudyOS is an AI-powered study tool for CBSE students in Classes 5–12. We help students generate mind maps, flashcards, MCQs, and revision notes from NCERT chapters or their own uploaded notes.

2. What We Collect and Why
When you use the site without signing in

We request only the minimum necessary — your name, email, and a unique ID. We do not access your contacts, files, calendar, or any other account data.
When you subscribe (Premium)

We do not see or store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details. All payment data is handled entirely by our payment processor.
3. What Happens to Uploaded Files
When you upload a PDF or photo:
- It is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI processing partner
- The AI generates your study content and returns it
- The file is discarded — it is not saved to any database or disk on our end
Please do not upload documents containing sensitive personal information (Aadhaar numbers, bank statements, medical records). StudyOS is designed for academic notes only.
4. Children's Privacy
StudyOS is designed for students from Class 5 upward, which includes children under 18. We take this seriously.
- We collect only what is necessary to run the service
- We do not show behavioural or targeted advertising
- We do not sell any user data
- We do not share student data with third parties for marketing purposes
If you are under 13, please use StudyOS with a parent or guardian's awareness. If you believe a child's data has been submitted without appropriate consent, email us at support@studyos.co.in and we will delete it promptly.
5. Who We Share Data With
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate StudyOS. We share only what each provider needs to do its job.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
- Session cookies set during sign-in to keep you authenticated
- A login token stored in your browser to keep you signed in — expires with your subscription or after 30 days
- Local browser storage for your chapter progress and study streaks — this data stays only on your device and is never sent to us
- Analytics scripts that use cookies to count visitors and track product usage
You can remove all of this by clearing your browser's site data for studyos.co.in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data

To delete your account, email support@studyos.co.in with the subject line "Delete my account". We will process it within 30 days.
8. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act 2023
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Erase your data
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf

9. Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Your password is never stored — we use third-party sign-in only
- Our database is hosted on a managed cloud platform with access restricted to our application
- Login tokens are cryptographically signed and expire automatically
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to support@studyos.co.in before disclosing it publicly.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, if you have an account, notify your registered email address. Continued use of StudyOS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
