One month ago, we told you 2,500 students had found StudyOS in 30 days, without a single ad.
Thirty days later, that number is past 5,000. Still zero rupees spent on advertising. Still just word of mouth โ a parent telling another parent, a student sharing a link in a WhatsApp group, a teacher mentioning it in class.
We didn't expect month two to double month one. We're not going to pretend we saw it coming.
Day 30 was about breadth โ getting every class from 5 to 12 onto the platform as fast as we honestly could. Day 60 has been about depth, and about a few decisions that weren't fun to make but felt necessary.
Here's what's new:
The map got wider, not narrower. Chennai and Bengaluru still lead, but the spread is what struck us. Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Dehradun in the north. Kolkata, Patna and Bhubaneswar in the east. Ahmedabad, Surat and Nagpur in the west. Coimbatore, Madurai and Kochi alongside the big southern metros. And outside India โ Dubai and Sharjah, then Doha in Qatar, then Kuwait City. CBSE clearly doesn't stop at the border. Indian families abroad are using StudyOS too.
Trust compounds slower than growth, and that's fine. We spent real time this month on things nobody was forcing us to fix โ auditing tens of thousands of questions we'd already shipped, shutting down a feature that wasn't good enough. None of that shows up in a signup chart. We think it matters more than what does.
A faster experience on slow connections. A proper mobile app, not just a website. More mock papers for classes below 10. We know the list, and it's still long.
If StudyOS has helped once โ you, your child, a student you teach โ tell one more person. That's the entire growth strategy, and so far it's the only one that's worked.
